The final rider announcement for 2025.

As most of you will know, @jakemarsh_54 has had two big crashes this year. One at Donnington Park Race Circuit, joining the famous Craner curves club, destroying his Triumph 765 GP2. Then making the move onto the new 2024 Honda Fireblade, which he only had 2 weeks on, before having a really serious incident at Brands Hatch. Suffering a broken femur, fractured ankle, shoulder and wrist, it put him out for the rest of the year. Jake is still on the mend but has taken a lot of time and thought for his next move. We are proud to announce, Jake will be taking a step back from chasing the BSB Dream to go and master the Stock1000 at Bemsee in the PowerBike class. Jake wants to regain himself and compete at the front. He will no longer be running under his Dad Peter Marsh. One of the hardest things, is to let go as a parent but to understand stepping away from the father, son racing for the progression of your child’s racing career is a big understanding.
Jim Gibson, who has believed in Jake from 1st meeting him back in 2021 at the @superbikeschooluk , has been by his side since his debut at BSB. Jim & Jake are now making it their goal to step back from BSB and show what they can do together.

So 2025, Jake will be on the 2024 FireBlade in PowerBikes at Bemsee.

15 years of age with a passion for going fast.

She has raced this year at Bemsee and East Midlands Racing Association. Competing in Team Green, formula 400 and open 500’s. Taking multiple podiums this year racing two completely different motorcycles. Continuing her journey on the Ninja 400 EX at the start of the year she started to look towards the future and potential to go to the next level on the new Kawasaki 400RR. A corner was turned towards the end of the year when her parents were asked to take a Step back and be mum & dad and enjoy their daughters racing. As hard as this was for them, the team have worked hard giving Aleisha the tools,knowledge and experience to compete at the higher level. With the progression made it was decided to enter the last round of the British Tracker Kawasaki super teen championship as a wild card. Having never rode the full Donnington Park Race Circuit, and with such a competitive grid she held her own and showed great progression over the 3 days, even with a high speed crash at Crainer Curves leaving her shaken and bruised.
The weekend proved this is where she needs to be.

Keo Walker, is moving to compete in the British Supersport class. Keo has just finished the season off this weekend in the British Supersport GP2 championship at Bennetts British Superbike Championship on the RD Racing Triumph 765 GP2. He took 3rd place in the championship, but the highlight of the weekend was taking the win in class in race one and finishing 4th overall in Supersport.
Keo’s progression this year has been amazing. Stepping up onto a big 700cc race bike from the Ninja 400 he raced last year. He has won the Knockhill Racing Circuit Championship and holds the lap record for the circuit. He finished 2nd in the Scottish Championship but only missing out on winning due to a BSB clashed round. What a 1st season competing with the best in the country and don’t forget which most of you may not know he is still only 16 years of age.
Pete Marsh said “Keo now has a lot of hard work to do ready for his biggest challenge yet next year but it has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a hard working and loving family behind their son. Keo Walker Racing family go above and beyond and give up so much making them a great fit and part of the RD Racing team”.

Since our last post, we would like to update you all with future plans.

Sad day for RD Racing but also a positive outcome to celebrate the last few years.
Pete Marsh & Nick Weston merged Zipped Up Racing and NW Racing together nearly 3 years ago to become a stronger structured team for a better pathway for the kids we were helping.
There have been so many great memories made and some amazing results over the years.
Zack Weston winning the Team Green Junior Cup at Bemsee.

Jake Marsh giving us some spectacular crashes on the TV in the British Supersport GP2 class.
Luca Wilkinson winning the Team Green Junior Cup at Bemsee for the team to take it for a second year in a row.
Aleisha Layton joining the team and taking multiple podiums in different classes and clubs.

Not forgetting our youth riders in the British Minibike championship that included Hudson Cooper taking multiple championship wins and Lucas King actually taking his first ever podium finish in 2024.
So many great achievements have come from the team in such a short space of time.
This year there has been some incredible pathways open up for them both and although they have enjoyed incredible success together with RDRacing they both are keen to persue seperate opportunities within the racing paddock.
So onto the future with bigger and better things in the pipeline from them both.
Nick has been well known for years under the NWRacing banner and will return to running that with big plans for 2025 so keep an eye open on socials for future announcements of what’s coming.
Pete will continue on under the RDRacing banner and also has some amazing plans for the 2025 season. So definitely keep an eye open on here for announcements soon!!

Ben has joined RDRacing this year as our British Minibike young rider mentor.
He will be working alongside @lucas16racing helping to prepare him for each session and everything that goes into racing minibikes.
Ben is a great guy and we think he will bring a lot to the team as he helps Lucas prepare for the ohvale FIM cup along with his own assault on the Senior Minibike 140 championship....not only that but he will be making his debut on a big bike as he wildcards throughout the year at Bemsee as well.

For now though we would like to say welcome to the team and a massive well done for passing your ACU course.

With strict instructions to just enjoy yourself and being it home that's exactly what they did in Sundays race 1...another podium for Luca with a P3 and a hard fought P10 for Aleisha the whole team were very happy!! Moving on to race 2 and the conditions had massively improved and although the bikes were still shod with wet tyres the tracknwas drying fast!!

Unfortunately Luca had a technical dns on the warm up lap which put paid to what could have been 4 out of 4 podiums but that's racing sometimes!!!

Aleisha started in P19 after the morning race and was determined to get her head down and show the rest what she was made off and boy did she do that!!!!
Making her way up to P4 and just off the podium...even making a late lunge to take P4 on the last lap on her weakest corner of the track, letting the brakes off and just going for it..it stuck and she came home with a massive smile on her face!!!

A massive weekend for the whole team and one we're very proud off.

With the @bemsee_official side of the team being away for the last week testing at the fantastic @circuitoalmeria we have had to postpone the raffle draw...mainly because no one was in the uk to sort it out. Lol.

Anyway have no fear people the draw will be done this week and the entire video will be uploaded and the lucky winners will all be tagged or contacted to claim their prizes.
